This study conducted to determine the preparedness of maritime cadets on natural calamities and emergencies. The respondents of this study were the 303 maritime cadets of VMA Global College and Training Centers, Inc. during the SY 2017-2018. The instrument used in this study was the researchers=made questionnaire measuring the students preparedness on natural calamities and emergencies. Mean and standard deviation were used to measures students preparedness on the natural calamities and emergencies and t-test was employed to determine the significant difference on the students preparedness when group according to the course and year level. All inferential statistics used 0.05 the level of confidence. Findings of the study revealed that there is no significant relationship in the level of preparedness when grouped according to course in terms of flood and earthquake. However there is significant relationship in the level of preparedness between BSMT and BSMAR-E cadets in emergency and fire. Study results further revealed that majority of maritime cadets are prepared on natural calamities and emergencies.Likewise it was recommended by the researchers that the safety officer/administration should strengthen the preparedness of maritime cadets in all levels on fire drills by doing annual drills regularly. Install alarm system in all areas of the school campus and instill the importance of preparedness and natural calamities in all physical education classes. Improve the preparedness of maritime cadets by educating correct escape routes in the campus.
