VMA holds CBP ’12 Commencement

     “Sailing thru the Oceans Powered by Competence and Discipline” is this year’s theme for the Recognition and Launching Ceremonies of the CHED Bridging Program Batch 12 held last July 26, 2011 at the VMA Gym.

     The ceremony started with Dr. Elizabeth O. Salbas giving her welcome address followed by the presentation of special awards which were announced by Engr. Lucy B. Gaylan.

     Dir. Lily Ann R. Baldago, CESO VI, Regional Director for Professional Regulation Commission, Region VI was the keynote speaker.

     Dir.  Ma. Leonor F. Validor of TUP- Visayas gave an Inspirational Message for the graduates and Dir. Samuel S. Madrid Director II of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Region VI was the Trigger Stopper Officer during the ceremony. The CHED Bridging Program Batch 12 is sponsored by Virjen Shipping Corp., Phoenix Maritime corp., and VERITAS Maritime Corporation.The class topnotcher is E/C Lorvico R. Tolentino, Jr., RME.
