BED invades Boracay, Bohol,Negros and Manila-Tgaytay

       A series of tours organized by the Tourism students kicked off last October 2. Their clienteles were the BSHRM, BSTM and SC/SC students.                         

       86 students from the HRM and BSTM left at around 8:00am last October 3 for their Negros Occidental-Oriental Tour. First stop was in Sipalay City-famously known as "little Boracay of Negros." The group strolled in the beach, took pictures and took a dip in the intricately designed pools of Nataasan Beach Resort and Robinson@cruse Resort. Zamboangita Zoo was the destination the next day and then off were to Dumaguete City for their City Tour. They group went on Dolphin-watching in Bais City and took a swim in Manjuyod Sandbar on their last day.

       The faculty-travel companions were Mr. Heries Trance and Mr. Danilo Plomeda. The Organizers were the BSTourism 4th year.

       The 136 SC/SC students went on the Boracay Island Tour on October 2. Their itenary included hotel familiarization, bar hopping, banana boat ride and island hopping. Mr. Adelito Eulatic, Mrs. Mercerose Rafil and Jeane Tiaga were the faculty-travel companions and BSTourism 4th year as the organizers.

       The Bohol Tour started in Panglao island with a visit in Hinagdanan Cave, Bee Farm and the old churches in Panglao. The group did not pass the opportunity to visit the famous Chocolate Hills and see the Tarsiers of Bohol as well as experience a romantic lunch via the floating restaurant in Loboc River. They also met "Proni", the phyton, saw the butterfly garden, stopped at the Sanduguan or the Blood Compact Shrine and paid a quick visit at the Baclayon Church, one of the oldeest church in Bohol.

       Ms. Rose Ann Alburo and Ms. Russel Grace Carmelo were the faculty-travel companions of the 45 HRM 3rd year students who went on the Manila-Tagaytay Tour with BSTourism 3 as organizers.

       They visited Manila Ocean Park, Pobar Shipping Company and went on an Abacus Training and Hotel Familiarization at the Oxford and Makati Palace Hotel. They also went ziplining in Tagaytay and visited Enchanted Kingdom. Their last day was spent at the Mall of Asia.
